But I didn’t Have a DUI, why was my license suspended?

There are several reasons this could happen. Sometimes it is simple human or computer error. A person with the same name had their license suspended or revoked. When you were pulled over, it was triggered by computer or human error. There may be other reasons, such as you had your license suspended or revoked in the past and due to human error the correct information was not put on file when it was restored.

The best idea is to go get a DMV printout of your driving record. If, on the date in question, your license was not suspended or revoked, you can present it to the prosecuting attorney and have the case dismissed. If the prosecution does not automatically dismiss the case upon your evidence, then you can present it at trial and the case will be dismissed. Normally the prosecutor will not proceed with the case upon receiving the documented proof. If you are questioning a driver’s license suspension or revocation and do not have a DUI or DWI on your record, it is a good idea to speak to a DUI attorney or a personal injury attorney with DUI experience.
